General Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions govern the services and facilities provided by A&R Tiles and have been drafted for the benefit, safety and comfort of all users.

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Use of the internet connection is governed by our Internet Usage Policy.
Both of these policies form part of these Terms.

By using our services and facilities, you agree to comply with these T&Cs at all times.

1. General Use

  • The services and facilities are intended to be a calm and pleasant place to work. Above all, users should be considerate of others in every respect.

  • Users use the facilities at their own risk.

  • User must not occupy more space than allocated.

  • The space must only be used for lawful business or professional purposes.

  • We do not accept liability for actions taken by users within the premises.

  • Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 5.00pm.

  • Users must vacate the desk promptly at the end of the booking period.

  • Users must clean their workspace at the end of each session

  • Users must comply with all health and safety instructions and building regulations notified to them, including fire evacuation procedures and keeping exits clear.

  • Any accidents, damages or hazards must be reported immediately.

  • Users must not bring hazardous materials or equipment into the space

2. Common Areas

  • Common spaces are for temporary use and not as a place for continuous, everyday work.

  • Users must keep communal areas clean – please leave them as you wish to find them.

  • Users are expected to do their own washing up.

  • The fridge will be cleared out every Saturday evening. Any items left in the fridge will be disposed of.

3. Noise

  • Noise levels must be kept to a minimum.

  • Headphones are required for music and other audio, which must not be audible to any other User or guests present.

  • Phone calls can be made in shared areas, adhering to the low noise level.

  • Private phone calls can be taken in the confidential call room, when available.

4. Meeting Room

  • The meeting room is available during office hours and must be booked in advance on a first come, first served basis.

  • Meeting room furniture may be moved but must be left as it was found.

  • The meeting room must be left clean and tidy after use.

 

5. Security and Access

  • Fire doors are for emergency use only and must be kept clear of obstruction and closed when not in use.

  • A security camera covers the main entrance at all times.

  • Our collection and use of your personal data, including CCTV footage, is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Personal Property

  • All items brought onto the premises are brought onto the premises entirely at the risk of Users.

  • Users are responsible for insuring their own belongings. Our insurance does not cover Users’ property.

7. Conduct and Acceptable Use

  • Users are expected to behave professionally and in a collegiate manner at all times.

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited

  • The confidentiality of other users’ communications and business dealings must be respected.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors. Illegal, immoral, or disruptive activities are strictly prohibited.

  • Unauthorised access to systems, networks, or restricted areas is forbidden.

  • No User or guest shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances.

  • We do not control and are not responsible for the actions of other users or any other third. If a dispute arises between Users or their guests or pets, we shall have no responsibility or obligation to participate, mediate or indemnify any party.

  • We encourage Users not to use the workspace if they are unwell, to safeguard the health of other Users.

  • You may be held liable (and do hereby authorise us to charge you) for the repair cost for all damage to our premises and items therein caused by you or your guests.

8. Accidents

  • If you or your guest has an accident or suffers any injury at, or in the vicinity of, A&R Tiles, please report this to us as soon as possible.

9. Space Closures

  • The use of facilities may be restricted for maintenance, with prior notice provided. Efforts shall be made to restrict any closures to outside working hours.

  • We reserve the right to occasionally close parts of the premises to users outside working hours to facilitate private events.

10. Payments and Cancellations

  • All bookings must be made in advance via the booking system

  • Bookings must be paid upon booking confirmation.

  • Bookings are non-transferable without prior written consent

  • If payment is not received prior to the booking, access to the desk will not be permitted.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may not be eligible for a refund.

  • A&R Tiles reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstance, in which case a full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered

11. Guests and Visitors

  • External guests are permitted only in the meeting room.

  • External guests are expected to adhere to these T&Cs. Users are responsible for their guests’ conduct.

  • Guests must sign in upon arrival.

12. Internet and Printing

  • Internet service is provided but not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or secure.

  • Users are responsible for ensuring their own data security

  • Users must not engage in illegal or inappropriate online activity.

13. Pets

  • Pets are not permitted in the workplace.

14. Parking

  • There is on-road parking available, as well as free car parks nearby.

  • Users must not use Discworld and A&R Tiles car park.

15. Liability and Indemnity

  • Users use the facilities at their own risk.

  • Users are responsible for any damage they cause.

  • We do not accept liability for actions taken by users within the premises.

  • A&R Tiles shall not be liable to any user or guest for any personal or business loss, damage or injury.

16. Data Protection

  • Personal data collected during the booking will be handled in accordance with data protection laws.

17. Termination

  • A&R Tiles reserves the right to terminate access without refund if these terms are breached.
